Deleting CCR Channels from Channel Property Grid

Recommended Posts

I am trying to delete some CCR Channels using the Channel Property Grid...

When I click on the "Red X" to the left of the Channel Name, I get the message "Are you sure you want to remove the channel from this track?"

I click on "Yes"...but it is not being deleted...

Now what am I doing wrong???

EDIT:

I am able to delete them from the Sequence Editor....but would be sooo much faster from the Channel Property Grid...if it was working...

If you have a "Delete Controller" option in your property grid screen, try that.

Yeah...that only lists my controllers...

not my CCR's...

at least in my Channel Property Grid...

Your CCR should have its own unique controller id.

Are you saying if I have Controllers with ID's from 1 to 35, then my 12 CCR's CANNOT /SHOULD NOT have ID's 1-12 but should have ID's 36 - 48?

I didn't think it would matter since I have them on a different network (Aux A and Aux :D...

And if this is correct...if I delete Controller #1...will it also delete CCR #1 from my Grid?

Arrrrgh!! Sounds like I get to re-do my Channel Configuration for the 6th time this season!!!! :P

I don't think the Channel Property Grid will delete an RGB channel in 2.9.4. You're forced to click on the channel and select Delete RGB Channel... 50 times. The Macro channels can be deleted from the CPG.

Hey Jeff...

I know in my other post you mentioned that with S3 we will be able to delete whole "groups"...

Is there a Channel Property Grid in S3? And if so, does the above function work (being able to delete CCD's) in S3?

And do the CCD's show up in the "Delete Controller" pull down menu in S3?

AND/OR...are my CCR's not showing up in my "Delete Controller" pull down menu because they have the same ID (different Network) as my Controllers?

Wow! Slow down Jim. Different networks should be OK.

And this is the message you get if you try to delete a component channel in S3 from the channel property grid... there should've been a similar approach in S2 rather than to have nothing happen at all IMO.

Excuse my ignorance (again!!)...whats a Component Chanel compared to all the other channels?

EDIT:

Never mind...didn't catch your answers in BLUE above...

so am I safe to assume a component channel is one of the Red Green Blue channels within a CCR channel?

Thanks a lot for checking on those items Jeff!!!
