I am sorry if this has been answer before I am new to this site. I have been doing a display with over 25k lights for years I was hoping this was going to be the first time with the display set to music but like all of you I am still hoping. but any way if I am able to get my first controller does anyone know if there is any problem dedicating a Chanel to just be on from the start of the show to the end and also is there any chatter when using the controller to turn on a lighting contractor.

JBullard....Ya must be having an off day. Not to worry, we all have them. Hang in there big guy. Things always work out.

You mean in this thread?

"Are The Sales Over and Done With?? "

Seriously?

Can't imagine why someone wouldn't not think to look for an answer about controlling channels in thread asking about if the sales are over.

There are no dumb or redundant questions here.

I see John's point, same question, same poster, answered. But being new, maybe they missed it.:( Lets move on.

OUCH! I feel Jeff's evil stare on burning a hole in the back of my neck.

Crawling back under my rock to hibernate til it's time to set up.

As has already been answered, you can do that. But why would you want to? It would be far easier to run whatever's on that channel from a timer, and save the channel to use for something more entertaining. Just saying...

If you think THAT'S bad, just wait until you see his demented stare...

I do it quite often. I always leave a channel or 2 open on most of my controllers as emergency channel spare.

Hiding under my rock waiting for him to send in his evil cats.

Sure won't be the last time that I stick my foot in my mouth.

David must have been a really bad boy in a different thread. Maybe Jim can find it for us.

How did I get tossed into this? Wasn't it John that started it? Did David get us confused John? ...and how is that even humanly possible???

Jeff

PS Hi George!

If he ever saw us, then it would be impossible for a mistake like that. Throw in William and George .......
Hope the four of us can get together again next year. Had a blast last June
