help with c-9s

OK i need some quick imput... i have a mega tree with 21 strand of c-9;s, i could make available 4 channels and divide the tree up i have a ctb 8 with heat sink, does any one think that this would be possible, and if so could they help me with a sequence to chase it?

Well if my math and assumptions are right:

1 string of C9's (25 bulbs) at 7 watts each bulb = 1.59 Amps

21 Strings would be 33.39 Amps

Divide by 4 channels = 8.34 Amp per channel

I would have to say no, I think the MAX per channel is 8 Amps, can't recall what the board max is.

Max on the board is 15 Amps...so No way that's gonna work...more than double the board capacity

I've put 320 C9s on an 8 channel board over 4 channels. Never pushed any further than that. Also, most of the time, these are not all on at one time...

this is kinda what i figured, o well guess the mega tree will have to wait untill next year to chase and dance with the music.. bummer. o well good excuse to buy more boards for next year..
