Max-Paul
Well being in the mid-west and with new shingles. I am starting to attach a permanent mounted thing McBob that the things on the C9 light strings are attached to. Hope to have the ridgeline done within a week and the lights will be mounted then. Will wait till the 1st week of Nov to do the rest over a weeks time. Then Like a few others, will start doing dressed rehearsals to check out the look of things. Then go live Friday night after Thanks Giving. WX man says that we might have our first snow end of month. But then too, WX here in STL are more wrong than right. But I dont plan to be Kneeling in the snow or slush.

Course, the jet noise drowns out the music playing over the radio too...

Probably with new roof soon, and needing to figure out how I am going to mount some light strips (made using pvc conduit) that line the edge of my roof. thevikester
Mwhite7097 wrote: You guys take your lights down every year???Thats funny...when I lived in Minneapolis, a radio show used to go out and look for houses with their lights up, say in April, and make prank calls from various County agencies saying they have until the weekend to get them down before they are fined.NOW, with that said, in MN, I would have started already, in Florida, right after Halloween I start, but of course putting things together before then, but nothing gets on the house until then. With any luck, Thanks giving night it will start...okay, with alot of luck

I normally take two weeks off workafter halloween, only one week this year. So I havebeen hard at it reinventing the wheel of xmas installations. I am spending more time now to save time. Crazy. The show begins Black Friday and ends on 12/31. No exceptions! I generally Have one solid week of testing and if its all good I always do an hour or so show on thanksgiving night for special guest and Neighbors. Then let it all begin!
