polarass11
I currently have sequences for Christmas and Halloween. My computer has some kinda of "system tools" virus and will hardly run. Im wanting to save my sequences and start fresh with my new pc. Will i be able to put those on a usb memory stick? What my plan is to purchase the LOR software and try to reprogram a new show. Im hoping to load up those old sequences to help me remember some of the nice effects. Its kinda late to get this going but ive got so many neighbors asking when the show is going to start. Thanks, Les
Guest wbottomley
Yes you can as long as they were not made in the demo version.
George Simmons
It might also be a good idea to make sure your NEW PC has an excellent antivirus program running before plugging that memory stick in.

Jim Saul
Les, on your virus ridden PC, try to download and run malwarebytes It's very good for free and there is a pretty good chance it will get your computer functioning again. On your new PC, I recommend you use Vipre. go to my website (www.thecomputerhero.com) and click on the banner on the right hand side. you can download there and start a 30 day trial. it will make sure you do not transfer the virus into your new computer.Full disclosure - If you like it and decide to purchase it, I get a few bucks, but that's not why I recommend it, it's the best one out there for the money, and it uses far less horsepower than most other antivirus programs so your computer runs a bit faster. If you do not want a paid antivirus, then go with Microsoft Security Essentials – it is free and not too bad. TJ Hvasta
MSE.. Solid YES vote in my book.. There is no reason to pay for anti-virus software. Like it says.. paying for AV software is sooooo 2008!!
paulanator
Les, Here are a couple other things in addition to Jim's recommendations:Get Ccleaner slim, and run it, remove all the temp junk off your system.http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=4191&file=9&evp=a12d758b021af1a4f0a6bfe45b0c7a82When running Malwarebytes, boot into safe mode. When the comptuer is starting, press the F8 key repeatedly after the main bios boot screen, before windows. When it gives a choice, use your arrow key, and go up to Safe mode. That way, any virus or malware you have, will not load, and it your malware removal tools work better.I would also recommend Superantispyware, another really good tool. http://www.superantispyware.com/downloadfile.html?productid=SUPERANTISPYWAREFREEThis, ccleaner and Malwarebytes will get a lot of the crud out of your system.
