Retro Screw In C9 LED's

Does anyone have it on top of thier head the current draw on C9 Retro (C7's also if you know) LED's ?

I'm having to redo my power box this year (added 3 more LOR controllers) and I think I want to know what my total display draw is going to be so I can balance it. ...

I say "I think" becasue if I really knew .. I might change my mind .. LOL ..

I've never balanced my display since day one. Everything works great too.

C-9 They use 80% less electricity - 120 volt uses .96 watts for each lamp. They are nickel plated brass base and have 5 LED's in each lamp for a bright vibrant color.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the replies.

The only reason I'm working on balancing my act is that I currently have a box with 8 15Amp breakers in it feeding 8 GFI Duplex plugs (Source power is 60 amps at 220 feeding the sub panel)

This year I will have 10 controllers each with dual AC feeds which is why I am pondering the issue. Does each of the LOR controllers really NEED the dual AC feed?

What I have been doing is inserting one plug into one duplex outlet and the other into the duplex outlet next to it thereby splitting the load of each controller across two breakers each on a different leg of the 220 source.

I'll be building a box with 3 controllers supplied by one 15 amp service (for mega tree)... I'll only be drawing about 6-7 amps from all three controllers... So it all depends on total amps at any given time.

Exaclty .. which is why I have "cipher-n" cap on ... naught + naught carry the naught .. LOL ..

I ended up making an Excel chart with all channels - what was on the channel - light type, bulb count, amps per bulb/string and then added it up per controller and even balanced (as you said) the left and right side of the controller so as not to exceed around 5-6 amps per side and staying below 10-12 amps total on any controller...

All I can say right now without all of the data for my display is this. I have one outlet running the whole display. And I have 8 controllers and almost all LED. A few icans for the 6 blow molds.

Agree with very good advise, get a kill O watt.

BTW I have all of my controllers with one single feed. No two supply cords. But again, all LED and the few icans is less than 1 amp per channel.
