Spending for decorations with the spouse

Ok, this worked for me today. I took my wife with me to Modern Display a very large commercial display store for various seasons and they have all of their Christmas decorations out.

The wife decides on what she likes and purchases and she gets to decide where it will be placed and how it will be used in the Christmas display this year. She actually negotiated with the store and got the display which was their only item in stock right now for 50% off.

So she told me to go ahead and skip Halloween and just go for the Christmas display now because she is ready now.

You have a great wife, it sounds like you need to take her shopping more often. :P

She does she lives in Phoenix and she is single!

However my wife is one of a kind. She is the baby of the family and they broke the mold after she was born. LOL. ;)

The Brown family seems to be into everything else dont know why they would not especially if they could use it on their tv show.

I dont think her sister would go for it though. She does have grand kids in Mesa. I dont think she would leave them. She might go for Phoenix though. I can hook you up with her email or facebook if you like. ;)

My wife was totally against the LOR thing for years. Last year was my first and she loved it. I bought my controller in March 2010 and started designing the display. I showed her a few things and let her input ideas so she thinks it is hers. That is how I got my mega tree last year. We have been looking at new houses and she finds herself more and more saying "How would we do the Christmas display here?" or "Can't buy this one because the yard is too small or hilly for the display". I find it funny for someone that didn't want me doing this.

So having to purchase a new washer and dryer set to placate the wife about purchasing a couple of new controllers I was debating about what type of LED lights and length, color ect today when my good wife reminded me that last year I had purchased two cases of LED lights and she had asked me then what I planned to do with the lights, I told her then I would find a use for them later.

I had forgotten about them until she reminded me and now I need to see if I can find them and put them to use on my new robin wheel.
