CCR acting funny

I just bought 4 ccr's and went through the whole set up process and made sure every thing worked properly and it did. Once I was done with that I went into a sequence that I had done and it only had the ccr going off and on in red only every few seconds on channels 26-50. The problem was the ccr was changing all sorts of color throughout the whole ribbon. It was turning blue and green and yellow and just not doing what the sequence was. I then started getting frustrated so I plugged another ccr in and set it up as unit 2. It was doing the same thing. By that time I was ready to throw them out the window. Then I decided to plug them both in together and when I did that they worked flawless. Why was it that when I only had one plugged in that it did not work but once I daisy chained them they work. Also I use the mini director to control my show if that helps.

After you troubleshoot a few times you will get the hang of it. Maybe you would like to post your test sequence and I will run it on my setup.

I also just set mine up to play in the basement. I had one that was acting up similar to what you are describing. I reset the controller by pulling the power, holding the reset in and plugging it in. After that life was good :)

I'm running into a bunch of challenges. I composed a sequence for a single CCR in SuperStar Gemini and when I export the sequence to LoR, the animation looks pretty good. What I see in SSE and LoR is not what I see when I run the sequence on the CCR. Colors are off, timing is off, sometimes, only half of the ribbon illuminates, other times everything comes through.

I've changed the Unit ID, and reset the CCR controller without any improvement in results. Any suggestions you might have would be much appreciated.
