Greetings all.

Has anyone had any success using an SD card larger than 2GB in a DC-MP3?

What is the size and brand you've used?

Thanks everyone.

DC-MP3 Showtime Director (in metal case)

Largest SD Card Size: 4GB SDHC (High Capacity/Definition Card)
Brand: SanDisk

I just put it in to see if the DC-MP3 card reader could handle it, I was very surprised when it read and started the show I put on it! I've tried this card in other devices and they can't read it, find it or use it.

But the DC-MP3 unit did, and I don't think it was really designed for anything this large, let alone a high definition/capacity card!

Thanks Guys,

I was hoping to see if 8 or 16gb cards would work.

I have several larger cards I use in my cameras.

I guess I'll just give it a try

The largest card that I use is a 2gb SanDisk card. I can't see a need for any thing larger than that at this time. Last week before I went to the Florida MINI I put my entire show (49 sequences, 109 min.) on a 1gb SanDisk card without any problems. I might add that the 1 & 2 gb cards are beginning to be hard to find, only 4gb+ cards.

Starting with the 4.10 firmware for the DC-MP3 there were some enhancements.

Don't quote me on this, but I would think the "SDHC" support would allow for larger then 2GB.
