Guest guest Posted November 19, 2006 Share Posted November 19, 2006 FYI...I've got two channels each with two strands of LEDs the other end of 80' 16 gauge extension cords. (Part of a row of trees.) Was having some strange troubles with it sometimes being too bright and not dimming correctly. A resistive load (night light) was needed to bring it back to normal.I'm speculating that the length and gauge of the wire caused the (net) load to drop even more, making it more difficult for LOR to control the circuit.Problem didn't seem to show on the 60' or 50' cords, though.EDIT: Can't remember for sure now if the cord was 80 or 100 feet.
