Joe Polenchar
Hi all,Not sure if this will be of any help to anyone, however, this is my idea for a very simple to build, sturdy light-o-rama controller rack.It took approximately 4 hours to build and I did it this afternoon (that time includes how long it took for 3 coats of paint to dry). The rack is very simple and does not require many skills to make. The rack can hold up to 8 light-o-rama controllers.I will try to answer any questions about the building of the rack if anyone is interested. This will be a 3 part post due to the size of the photos.Newbies...Carol & Joe Attached files

Gary Blair
Good job. One comment if I may,I would make it just a little higher so the plugs would be off the ground.

bob_moody
I like the idea. I have to agree with picking it up just a tad for the plugs ...I dont know what I am more jealous of... the rack .. or the GREEN grass ...We are dying down here in Hooterville...Bob and Sandra

That will reduce the chances of a GFCI tripping (connections shouldn't lay where water can puddle since it can easily carry debris, such as dirt and dissolved fertilizer, which is what tends to trigger them). Plus in PA (or KY for that matter) I would suspect that it isn't unusual to have 1-2 feet of snow that would make it easier for water to enter the bottom of the controller case (though this isn't as big of a concern) but also make it more difficult to open the case if needed. Even another 6-12" higher would probably be adequate. Either way, that is a nice looking rack you have.
