cenote
Looking at upgrading my CCTV system in the next few weeks. Current one is old and outdated, non internet/phone options etc...Was wondering what people have found on here for being good if any to be able to stream live video up to site if possible? (like to have link in xmas site to see live show). Most of the ones I have see, don't advertise they can do so. Any suggestions? Was looking at this one from A1 Security or this one at Super CircuitsChuck

-klb-
This is my current favorite for a low cost, wide angle security camera:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881338001a 1/3 inch purportedly Sony sensor for $55But, you will probably have a tough time getting an ID off anyone unless they get close.I'm really tempted to try one of these:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16881338073Same brand that I had never heard of, same 1/3 inch sensor, but higher resolution, and varifocal lens for $
taybrynn
I'll say my best camera is the KT&C KPC-EX230HL and its extremely good in low light. Way better than everything else I have tried. Its a bullet camera and easy to put anywhere.I also used a 4 camera DVR card from amazon that was around $59 and works like a charm and included software that works, but could use a rewrite, since its fairly non-intuitive to use.Similar to this:http://www.amazon.com/Q-See-QSDT4PCRC-Channel-H-264-Card/dp/B002RL8IF4/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1313731859&sr=8-5Reviews seem mixed now, but mine works, but would agree software kind of sucks ... but does work and does the job for cheap.
