JimCanfield Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 I currently have 48 channels in my display, and after doing a show at my church another church wants me to do the same thing but in a much larger scale. I am unsure of the number of channels, but I am looking at doing a wall of lights on 3 walls 35 feet tall and unsure of the length as of right now. A minimum of channels would be 8 controllers, 126 channels. This would more than double what I am used to, but really small for most of you. I am planning on buying a controller or two, hoping the church will buy a few, and maybe borrow/rent a few. I would love to have 160 channels.It would be in April, so am planning right now. What would you suggest I do? Maybe there are not many differences between 48 and 160, but if there is would love to know ahead of time LOL. George Simmons Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 I think you'd notice quite a significant difference between 48 and 160... you can certainly do a lot more with 160 and in many regards you'll find it easier to work with because what you do will seem far less repetitive.
