Transfering sequences

I'm a Newbie and just got my system a few weeks ago. I have done 3 or 4 sequences and am trying to transfer them to another laptop that I want to use to run my show. I copied the sequences to a SD card but when I try to open them on the other computer I get errors saying it can't find the music files. How do I transfer them so they will work on the other computer?

Welcome Aboard!

You need to copy your music files to the new machine also. Then, open the sequence, go to EDIT, MEDIA FILE and tell it where the music is. Sorry it took so long to answer your question. :P

Thanks for getting back to me guys. This has been a fun and frustrating experience. I'm still not sure what the difference is between using music or animation sequences so for now I am just doing music sequences. I also just got a color ribbon instead of building arches. I think I can program it as just another controller. Wish me luck with that. I'll let you know how that turns out. Good to see another Kentucky boy here, makes it like family.
Thanks Again

the animation sequences are the same but with no music, you can also add loops to make each spot cylce as many times as you want

So how do you match the animations up with the music? It would be nice not to have to copy and paste as much if I could just add loops.

I think you want to use a background animation, that is something I am not familar with so one of the more experienced peeps will have to help, unless you jjust want the animated sequence in the middle of the music sequences then that will work in the show editor

I'm not sure, like I said I'm not sure how they work so I'll have to play around with it to see what works. Thanks for all your help. Got to get to bed now my head is full thinking about it.
