8gb flash drive with 2gb online storage for $10 with free shipping. I do not know the details on how long the 2gb online is but 8gb for $10 after shipping is a good way to keep your data safe.

and as everyone who is reading this in August knows, there will be at least 3 people that loose their HD between now and Christmas.

Thanks Jim. That's a deal too good to resist! Getting another memory stick was already on my list.

It wasn't a good deal, but couldn't resist this impulse buy at the counter at Fry's. It's the ideal place to backup all my Christmas light sequences.

Wal-Mart is carrying 8GB Thumb drives for $12.88 ea. I bought a PNY 8GB today to backup my sequences on to it.

My HD just crashed a few days ago... lost everything on it... Good thing I have a backup from a few weeks ago. Only lost a little work.

lol true enough, but it's not the same as me (a geek) walking into a frys, it's like a carpenter walking into a home depot for the first time.

So true. I remember the first time I walked into Fry's in Dallas. I was like a kid in a new toy store.
