LORi P
I thought I would never finish. But I finished Friday night!!A few parts seem a little 'bare' - so I may have to tweak, but in the mean time I moved on to my third sequence this weekend.... almost 1/3 done! I hope to have 5 for this Christmas.

David Rise
Question for ya. How do you convert your video to be able to upload to YouTube?Mine records as a .voj file (I think). Can't ever view it unless I watch from the camcorder or from the program that came with it.

LORi P
David Rise wrote:Question for ya. How do you convert your video to be able to upload to YouTubeI use a very sophisticated method, my digital camera. Maybe someday I'll try Any Video Conveter or something similar, but not until my sequences for this year are finished... and my trees assembled and lit.... and have pruchased the remaining lights I need... and purchased and set up an FM transmitter..... and made a 'tune to' radio sign.... and...    :shock:There sure is a lot to do your first year!

Can't ever view it unless I watch from the camcorder or from the program that came with it.David what kind of Camera (brand name) are you using? And how old is this camera? I have used many different digital cameras/camcorders and those that could do video usually record in .MOV or .AVI formats, unless they record directly to tape or a DVD. I've never heard of a .VOJ file for video, usually those that would start with a .VOx(ie. .VOC, .VOJ, .VOX) extension would be a voice file.If you would, could you send me the video file?, so I can take a look at it. I have a lot of video editing software and like stated, never encountered that extension for a movie/video file before.PM me for my e-mail address where to send the file too.BTW: How large is this video file? If over 25MB, that'll tell me which e-mail to have you send it too, some of my e-mail accounts have limits on the size of a file I can send/receive.I'd really like to take a look at it and see if possibly your particular camera just gives the file a uniquely named extension or if this may be a new format that I've just not encountered to date.Hoping I might be able to help you out. Guest guest
Looks great Lori. Keep plugging at it!I actually had 24 songs my very first year (2010) and that was for Halloween.Christmas not as grand, there were only 13 for Christmas (2010).I'm still working on 2011's Halloween sequences, haven't even got any done for the 2011 Christmas display yet....    :shock:Just seems I can sequence Halloween music better than Christmas music! LOLProbably will just do some major copying and pasting from my 80 channel 2010 sequences for this years Christmas display. May try to sequence a few new ones, only time will tell. I hope to have 5 for this Christmas.I am not sure I would even change anything. Just those mini trees coming on & nothing else was fine.As for there "sure is a lot of work for the 1st year"........well as Jim said......even the 2md & 3rd years.......and I will add even the 4th & 5th year & so on. There will be a good chance that you will be adding more lights, controllers, CCR's, display items, & sequences.

I'll have to look at it again. I just bought a new HD Cannon, so I'll check the settings as well.
PaulXmas
I havn't really even started sequencing!I did tweak a couple of mine from last year before I bought my CCRs so I have to tweak them again.I did add the CCRs to the visulizer Plus other than the 12 foot 32 channel tree and CCR arches everything will be the same as last year.Still I have sooooo much to do. Some "bare" spots, I'm leaving them be for the moment and continuing on with the others. I look at all of them from time to time and do some tweaking.
