What is the smallest PVC arch that could be made?

I used David Moores Baby Sidewalk Coro arches last year for Halloween (Orange incan. lights) and Christmas (White incan. lights). Which worked great, but I want something more traditional looking than just a one sided arch. Mainly because in my current setting a more traditional fully lit arch all the way around would work and look much better due to where they would be placed.

I'd like to make some very small ones out of PVC and was wondering if anyone ever made very small arches, like possibly no more than 2 feet high and 3-4' long. I don't have much room for large style PVC arches at an apartment setting, but ones that would be about 2 foot high and maybe 3' to 4' long would work.

Looking to make about 3 arches of this size.

Is this even possible and if so, what do you arch builders recommend on constructing them from. All suggestions on how to accomplish this are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I will be using 35, possibly 50 count White L.E.D. strings for these arches. Thinking possibly 3 strings per arch for the size would work. These would be 3 channel arches just like the Coro Arches I used. That way I can use/copy the same sequence to the new sequences with these arches.

My smallest arch takes up a 5' area...don't remember what the actual length is but used 3/4" grey PVC...used 50ct lights but had 5 sections on each arch.

you can see them here:

even at that length I found that the pvc would not "bend" evenly but kink in the middle..

though I have seen others that pour warm/hot sand into the PVC first before bending it and got good results...

in fact I bought a BBQ just to warm up the sand to make some new arches...just haven't gotten around to it yet

Thanks Jim and Dan!

Dan, that is the site I had been looking for! I thought I had seen this done before, but could not find the link I had favorited, just got too many links to sort through. LOL So I favorited this time on the Favorites bar.

That site was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Now I just have to get some of the materials and buy a new soldering iron since the one I have keeps eating the darn heating elements up long before they should go bad! So will buy a cheap one from the Rat Shack for this purpose.

Again, thanks guys, you've been a great help!:P
