marsh28
I plan on using LOR for the first time this Halloween. Obviously, I want the controllers asap so I can learn how everything works. I know that LOR regular delivery takes about a week. Is delivery any longer if you buy during the summer sale?
jimswinder
In the past they have had a "Try for Free" promotion during the Summer Sale (End Of Summer Sale this year??? )...where you could win your order for free, if you agree to a later delivery date...but what I have read in previous threads, even then they still had the product delivered within weeks of the sale ending...so, if you don't try to win your order for free they should have it delivered right away

Don't think I've ever waited more than a week for a delivery after ordering. As Jim said, Try For Free means you wait for all other orders to be filled. In your case, especially with the later sale this year, and wanting to do a Halloween show, skipping TFF for your Halloween stuff makes sense. LOLDownload the demo for the software now, if you haven't already, and get started...Having the physical controller in your hands will only allow you to plug in your lights....(yeah, I know...there is nothing like actually SEEING your lights dance)... Guest guest
We'll have to agree to disagree..and i KNOW you enjoyed disagreeing with me..If it is my first time, no word on the summer sale, and aiming towards halloween, i ain't buying lottery tickets..I'd definitely wait for the summer sale, but if it gets much later, and 8-10 weeks for delivery for TFF, halloween is at risk. But, as usual, it is good advice to download the demo software now...and buy the license as part of a starter pack. marsh28
Thanks for the responses. I'm mostly done with all of my sequences already so I won't have to much to do (hopefully) once I get the controllers.

scubado
It also depends on what your ordering. If you order just the already available items such as the PC cards, you will get your order sooner. If you order something that's new this year, be expecting to wait awhile. The DC QC cards last year took over 10 weeks to get.
