Guest guest
I have six new controllers (LOR160xW) and have given ID 01, 02, etc. I have ran the hardware utility. It locates and communicates with the 01 controller, but can't locate any of the other 5.All units are daisy chained, from 01 thru 06 in order. I am using cat 5 cables. I have checked them all and all are working fine. (Have used other cables just to verify) Verified all in and outs are correct, etc. Pulling my hair out, any suggestions? Guest guest
A quick verify here, do you have a high enough number listed in the hardware utility when searching network? Also, did you try replacing the second cable for another to verify the cable is good? Are all the lights solid? These are a few quick ones to start, We'll get you fixed here!>> Bill
Guest guest
Another question: Are you using cat 5 cable or phone cable? If phone cable, make sure you connect to the proper jack.-Tim
Guest guest
Strictly using new cat 5 cable, which I verified using on a separate network, as good. Also used other additional cables. Even tried max amount of controllers setting.Getting power to units Ok. Solid light first controller, blinking all others.
Guest guest
Have you tried bypassing the first unit? Maybe a problem with the communication section of that one.
Guest guest
Just tried it with 01 disconnected and connected to 02 etc, located 02 fine and other 4.Will check to see what is up with 01. thanks for your suggestions.
Guest guest
Did you mean it found unit 2, and all the others after you bypassed the first controller? Or do we still have an unidentified problem?
Guest guest
The culprit was the first controller (01). The out data connecter was loose and came loose from the main board. Resovled the issue by putting that unit (01) in the last of the daisy chain. After holidays will see if it can be replaced or repaired.
