Does LOR have a return policy on products?  If I buy something, can it be returned in a certain time frame for a full refund?

From the Warranties page...
Any undamaged Light-O-Rama hardware devices may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the price paid for the product returned. End-user does not have to keep products selected by mistake or that are not satisfactory.

But why would you want to return anything, once you get the LOR controllers you will be amazed. :(

True LOR products are amazingly fun!!

But, it makes me wonder about the policy if someone wants to return something they bought before a sale began. Some stores only refund the current price - where if a sale happens after the original purchase, then the customer loses. Or if that is not the case, some stores know that if they refund at the full original purchased price, then the person could essentially come back for the refund only to purchase the same product back at a lower price. In which case, many stores simply offer the sale price difference as a refund in an effort to eliminate all of the shipping and inventory movement....

So this post makes me wonder : What is LOR's policy?

I would imagine each controller/board has a Serial Number (somewhere)...and hence LOR would know WHEN you bought it and at what price...

I understand that detail and am not suggesting any foul play - just simply wondering what would happen with the legitimate purchase date/price if there was a price drop during the return policy period. Perhaps the forum is the wrong place to ask - other than the value to others who might have the same question and LOR Sales being able to answer it once.

I'll admit that my specific interest here is that I bought some DMX equipment at the Gatlinburg show that I would like to start to use and understand. The iDMX1000 is the only missing part for me. (I think) I delayed buying at the show due to LOR booth representatives talking about an upcomming sale and possibly other new dongles, etc. I've waited for some time now and if I knew a month ago there wouldn't be a sale by now, I would have happily bought back then. With that lesson I should throw in the towel now and buy now and stop waiting. But it would really be upsetting if the sale happened a few days after my purchase - especially after the invested wait! Ha!

Knowing I could get the difference should a sale happen in the next 30 days would really put my mind at peace and I'd purchase immediately. At the same time I am weighing in on the value of elimintating any stress from anticipation, and perhaps it's just worth overpaying to be done with the process.

I'm not trying to trick anyone or cheat the system. Just trying to save some time/money and be happy with the results that are fair to everyone! :-)

The sale will ALWAYS start a few days after your purchase...

So please buy NOW...the rest of us are waiting for the sale to start!!!! ;)

OK! I will!

At first I thought that I should ask everyone to pitch in for me as their share to making the sale happen. But I think Murphy's Law has some sub-set rule that would prevent that from working.

So, I'll make the buy now... ...and if the sale takes place immediately then you all can PM me for my mailing address should you wish to thank me with a donation for the sacrifice! Ha!
