Christmas_time_karl_UK
so I could have 32 servos...or 22 servos and 10 digital inputs/outputs??Is this how it works??
Christmas_time_karl_UK
yeah I am thinking multiple servo dogs... in the manual for the DIO32 it says servos can be connected to A and B it just doesnt have the 3 pin connections...?Is the DIO32 more of a b*tch to program/setup to get right compared to servodog? Christmas_time_karl_UK
tough choice...I wonder how much the servo dogs will be in summer sale? Any guesses from previous years?I want another 16 channels for stage lighting my animatronics...so thinking 1 DIO could nip it all in the bud cost wise where as 2 servo dogs (4 movement servos for each animatronic- 4 x 4 16)Have you seen my videos of the protoypes ive been building? Christmas_time_karl_UK
From your experience with the DIO32 can you stop the way a servo drives to full counter clockwise at the end of a sequence. Now you have the ability to disable the 'all-off' command in both the sequence editor and the show player. Or is this ONLY with the servo dog?? I remember reading somewhere that the DIO32 was lacking this? Also you talked about solid state relays...so I could use a relay of a digital output to control a high load motor that say opens stage curtains?? haha
Christmas_time_karl_UK
Oh I was under the impression you didnt need to use a daughter board and you could just wire up your own relay??"I intended to use some of the channels for servo control and others to control my homemade solid state relays"
