one board, two inputs triggering separate sequences?

I searched the forums and the answers I found only served to confuse me more, when I couple them with the manual for the CTB08D.

The back story:
Today I have a light by the front door, one on each side of the garage and 2 on pillars out by the street, you know standard track home illumination. These lights are controlled by a light switch and a motion detector. The light switch is normally in the on position and if someone comes to the door the lights go on (motion). If we turn off the switch and turn int back on less than 5 seconds later the lights come on and stay on until the sun comes up.

The dream is install a CTB08D (or something similar) and have a motion sensor fire off a 10 minute ON sequence, AND a second trigger that triggers a 2 hour ON sequence for those times when I'm expecting someone. Then during the season I would also be able to control these lights via the PC as part of my show.

So the $5.00 question is: Can I have two triggers triggering different sequences on the same controller? If so what would be the best controller choice knowing it will be hard wired into the house's standard wiring?

I see references in the forums to multiple triggers and multiple sequences, but I can't tell if those conversations include a PC driving the show or not. For most of the year I would want this controller to run in stand alone mode.

I like the CTB08D because it has screw terminals and only 8 channels, if I get crazy I could conceivably wire each of the 5 lights up independently leaving only 3 wasted channels.

So am I off my rocker or can this really be done.

Thanks Jeff. If I read right, I could trigger one on board sequence but not two, unless I had a PC hooked up too, which I was trying to avoid.

I can hope that Tim or William prove us wrong :)

I found the CTB16 HEADER today, 3 inputs. Now all that's left is figuring out it you can assign the triggers to different on board sequences. I'll have to look a the hardware utility tonight and see if I can do that.
