Here is a PDF file that shows my fireworks display build. I put the file on my website to make it easier to download. I hope this helps someone.

I have some old rope lights that I was going to try cutting.how do you know where to cut? If I mess them up no loss, but if I can get them to work may be able to make something cool

If you look at a rope light, with a back light (hold the rope light up to a lamp), you can see a place between two bulbs where it changes from a 'parallel' circut to a 'series' circuit (only two wires). It will usually be every 18 or 24 inches. The rope lights I used were 12 feet long and I was able to cut them every 24 inches. I will try to find a picture of what I'm talking about and post it here.

Here is a picture of a rope light that has been cut. If you look close you can see the wires. The next picture is an overlay that highlights the wires. Hope this helps.
