For audacity, there is version 1.2.6, which looks like the last 1.2 major release, 1.3.x seems to be the newest version, but from the comments on the website, still in beta.Is 1.2.6 enough for LOR/sequencing needs?2. I saw a post mentioning needing "LAME" with Audacity..I understand LAME allows Audacity to create MP3s...is there anything else LAME does for audacity, or is it that simple?Yea, taking the animation-only display from last year, to music...so let the sequencing fun begin..:shock::shock:
zman Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 I think 1.3 is what runs on Win7 if you have the O/S. If you are still on XP, 1.2.6 works just fine.Yes, LAME is needed for when you want to save from Audacity to MP3, I believe that is it.
