EDIT: Sorry about the main title, was hoping I could edit and fix that Holididay (or however it came out) to Holiday Coro.

These are HALLOWEEN faces.

If you are on the Holiday Coro e-mail list you would have gotten the e-mail about this contest. I just received it on 6/6/2011.

You can view that e-mail they right sent here (has all the details and info about the contest):

They not only have the 4 faces, but also a singing pumpkin, a gigantic singing pumpkin and a dancing skeleton on the link as well, but those aren't part of the contest, only the 4 Halloween faces are the prize for best sequence of them (see e-mail link above).

Ordering info is here (if you just want to buy {or see} them):

http://www.holidaycoro.com/default.html?HW-Characters.asp

But the animation window for the 4 faces is way too big for my monitor(19" LCD), even using the slider to slide it down still can't get to where I can see all 4 faces and all the other lights in the animation window. If you have a very large or Hi Def monitor, you may not have this problem.

I wasn't able to get the background JPG image either, SE2 comes up with can't find it. I d/l'd from the link they supplied, but no background jpg was available that I could find.

Anyway I just think it's easier to purchase the 4 faces at the $149 price tag as to try and do a sequence to win them for free. I think it would take a lot more time and hours to create a sequence for these than to just outright buy them.

But to those that want to enter and win 4 free singing Halloween faces, visit that e-mail link above. You only have until June 30, 2011 to enter. Not much time, but maybe whomever wins them will then review them for the rest of us when they get them.

And why I am NOT entering. had thought about it, but how can they lay claim to an MP3 file you may use that you don't have the rights to, but may have permission to use?

So since I couldn't "give" or "share" my sequence to anyone that would want it, I'd just make or buy my own faces somewhere and not have to worry about that "legal nonsense bs!: Just my opinion.

Orville -

This isn't any different than me providing work for my company and they reimbuse me for my "time", though I still don't "own" anything I've produced for them. I can understand if people were not compenstated for their work but that wasn't the case here - they received free product and/or discounts.

It's not rights to the MP3, since those rights are retained by the music company/author but rights to the sequence that goes with the music. You still need to purchase the music for any sequence, such as those at lightoramasequences.com.

funny. I just had this same out burst with a member last week.
when you post a sequence on this or any forum, you just made it public. it is subject to be downloaded for free by anyone and after a few minor changes. it is now for sale by a professional website or another member.

Even if your a newbie, you should make the effort and try to do a sequence. if not search the forum. a lot of sequences has been posted for years. older members are here to help you in your quest.

Does someone have something to giveaway here? :P

We did give lots of of our $150 Monster Quartets away for free and for the others that didn't win, we provided discounts. As a result we are able to offer up 18 great sequences for the Monster Quartet.

Thanks to everyone who entered!
