Color Wheel

Would appreciate any feedback.

I created a pdf color wheel to show the RGB and Percentage values for 12 basic colors, (Primary, Secondary, tertiary). I started off trying to do it mathmatically but quickly found I didn't like those results so I adjusted, and not sure I'm happy with all (like violet)

I'm a beginner with one CCR, working on my 2nd sequence, and find the wheel a good reference for color "recipies". Let me know if you think a different color combination is better for any of the colors...

I like it! I have been making a list myself, but nothing this nice... I liked the colors I picked in the house, then went outside and stepped back 50 feet and the CCR colors looked a little different. Still working on the perfect colors for an idea I have.

Thanks for the PDF.

The way I do it is to hook up the CCR to see what the "true" color is.

Have used lots of different color wheels in the past, (they are all over the internet) but found that different monitors will almost always show colors different then the CCR does.

Yes, these are the values I came up with for each color using the CCR. For example a regular RGB value for orange was way to bright, so I made my adjustments and created these.

First thing people will see with CCR's is the visulizer colors are useless!!!!! The only good ones are RED, Green and blue..Every thing else you need to see the ribbon to tell the real color. Ther color wheel is cool to help us lazy people do it quick !!!

I find myself in complete agreement. Since I got my first CCR I've used three different monitors here at home and the colors look(ed) different on all three. Currently (and for the past six or seven months) I'm using a 22" Hanspree LCD monitor (a Best Buy sale deal) and the colors are an exact match with the CCR - except the CCR is much brighter. Another good reason to get rid of those old clunky CRT beasts...
