It's no big deal to cover fatal car crashes to shootings and etc. Well today, I had a great day!

I was arrested in Hazzard County but later released on my good name.

Here's the evidence...

Those two were a blast.

So.... actor's I've talked to in my career are... Roscoe P. Coltrane, Enos Strate, Thelma Lou, Ernest T. Bass, Ellie Walker, Ponch from Chips, Patrick Duffy, and a few others I can't remember.

And, Flash that was in all of the episodes, she was a rescued dog.

So... in the end, not a bad news day.

What I think is funny is I'll bet 99% of the folks that don't know the real "HAZARD" Kentucky is actually spelled with one Z and not two, as the "Dukes of Hazzard" spelled it.

Although I do wonder if they intentionally misspelled it, or if someone that wrote the script thought Hazard Kentucky really had two z's in it?

Only reason I *know* the correct spelling is because both my late parents were from Kentucky and that's where we spent our vacations at my grandparents house (in Ashland, Kentucky). Don't know if that area has ever gotten any bigger than it was when I was a kid, place was so small, if you blinked you missed it! LOL

Oh yea, congrats on being released and meeting those folks!

Didn't you ever watch the show George? Narrator always said it was in "Hazzard County Kentucky" (but the real Hazard is NOT a county, it's actually a city, the county is actually Perry.

And we just watched those Good Ol' Duke boys the other night, "Hazzard County Kentucky" is where it ii supposed to be taking place. Now where it was filmed at, that very well could be all over the place. I've seen movies and TV shows that have used where I live (Orlando, FL) for certain scenes, but other locations for other parts of the movie. Guess it justt depends on the producers where they want something filmed.

A quick google says it was set in Hazzard county Georgia. Even in the last movie the boys went up to the big city, Atlanta.

I find this extremely interesting because the shows that aired here in my area would say "Hazard County Kentucky", now I'm wondering if there are other versions that were unknown out there. Although I would find that very strange considering Florida and Georgia are basically kissing cousins! But my wife and I just watched an episode last night and they said "Hazard County Kentucky", so now I'm puzzled as I find no mention of the show being set in Hazard Kentucky, but Georgia as most say here.

So I'm definitely wondering if certain areas or regions had different variations of this show for some reason.

Next time the show airs I'm going to get my wife to record it, and see if I can't record the dialogue from it where they say "Hazzard Kentucky" as I never heard Georgia ever mentioned in any of the shows that aired here in my area.

Based off of Hazard, KY, but set in Georgia.

The Dukes of Hazzard got its name from Hazard, Kentucky. To avoid legal problems, the producers added an extra "Z" and set the show in a fictional county in Georgia.

Although Hazzard County, Georgia was a fictional location (the early episodes of the show were filmed in Atlanta Covington, Georgia), the real-life town of Hazard, Kentucky was a beneficiary of the show's popularity. Members of the cast were frequent visitors to the town's annual Black Gold Festival.
