TJ Hvasta
Are they rope light pumpkins or real skulls? the real plastic skulls you can get at just about any hobby store (trains, RC cars/planes, plastic models), not HobbyLobby-type tho.Like these? These are Lindberg model skulls.. abt $12/ea if you want the larger, harder, heavier resin skulls, search for "Bucky skulls".. abt $25/ea Attached files
rescue_653
I like using frightprops.com for the skulls good and heavy duty but yet very realistic.
Guest guest
I think they are referring to the WOW Lights 3 output pumpkin here:http://www.wowlights.com/ProductDetail.asp?Category=19&Product=72I bought two wire frame skulls in 2010 from Big Lots that may work for what you're trying to do.These Skulls aren't 3 output(channels), but could be modified for multi-channel use by doing some changing of the light strings or re-stringing them with rope light or LED Light strings. These can be found at Big Lots (usually around Mid or near the end of August) when they start putting out their Halloween items. These cost me $15.00 each in 2010.They have their own stand so they can sit in a yard or you can use pastic C cable clamps or Zip tie screw downs to mount them to a wall.Big Lots also sells a large wire frame Bat (purple lights) and BOO letters (Orange Lights). These all have incandescent lights on them. Boo was also $15.00, I think the bat was $20.00 as it had a different type stand (not built in). The Boo and Skulls have their stand built in, but fold easily for mounting on a wall (as you can see in my photo below).Currently the Skulls are being help up by push pins on my apartment wall in my test room. The skulls also folkd down easily for storage. The top half folds down over the bottom and stand. The stand is the bar you see in the nose area and the odd shaped square(almost triangular - upside down) behind the mouth area. Here's a photo of one of them (unlit and lit - clear incandescent lights): Attached files

They were purchased exactly as you see them in the picture from Big Lots in August 2010.What I *DO* need to do with them is redo them with L.E.D. light strings and make them multi channel. I've just not felt like messing with them yet.Keep thinking about doing it, just haven't.

I'll be on the lookout for these when it comes time.MikeH

If using the stand it does lean about a 30 degree angle(may be a lot less). I just know when the stand is utilized, the angle isn't really that noticeable. You can see the skulls on the floor, the bat and the Boo wireframes I found at Big Lots in 2010 in my Test video when I was sequencing the "Born To Be Alive" song on youtube here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFUUFpGgNl4&feature=related&hl=en&fs=1This video has has a better view of the purple lit bat and Boo (supposed to be Orange, but doesn't look like it in the vid).http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MleFbaBik4c&feature=related&hl=en&fs=1It may help give you a little more perspective on how they look in action and to their sizes. Thanks for the video.MikeHWhen I first saw them last year I just KNEW "I HAVE TO HAVE THESE!" I'd strongly suggest start checking with Big Lots around the end of July and through August, they tend to put things out at the oddest times (guess that's why they are also called Odd Lots. LOL)They only had a total of 4 of these at the store I got mine from. I was fortunate to get mine when they first were put out! Never saw any more after they were sold out either! Went back to pick up a couple more (after I posted about them last year) and they were ALL GONE! Couldn't even find one in another store! So check often and regularly so you don't miss out! I'm sure there will be others looking for these too this year. The vids were taken at my old workroom/test area when we were in a house, my current workroom doesn't even compare, not with the limited space in the apartment we're currently in. But I'll manage. LOL

When I first started looking for what they were talking about, I was finding all kinds of things with WOW in front of it, including skulls like you had posted. But I had a feeling they meant WOW LIGHTS, not just WOW, when I added the lights after the WOW and looked, then I figured they were looking for some sort of CORO/PLASTIC Skull or a Wire Frame that would or could be converted to multi-channel use.Hence my posting of the Skull wire frames I found and bought at Big Lots in 2010.
