jstorms Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 When I put together any sequence I start with a few unmapped channels. Usually:* 2 channels for beat wizard (mirror of each other)* 2 channels for background/beat* 2 channels for foreground* 2 channels for vocals* 1 channel for scratch or specialThen I go through the song and represent it in the above. This is my intermediate representation of the sequence. It means I have the song broken down into its elements and then comes the artistic part of applying it to the lights in the show.I'm curious how others do it.What would be really handy for people that have a hard time finding the beat, or hearing that instrument in the foreground would be to have a library of intermediate sequences. Where the song is all broken down and its just a matter of applying it to your own show.
