JHolmes
Hello all,I was just working with my first LOR layout and was wondering if there was a way to map channels quicker than one at a time?Any tips would be appreciated!
KenL_MCSE
when you add the conroller you add 16 at a time. However, when you are labeling the channels, setting colors or using the designer it is one at a time.
jstorms
This is a feature "Sequence Inheriting" that I've often thought would be useful, esp. now with RGB. This would help speed up how much time it takes to do sequences, and help dramatically with controlling individual RGB pixels. You could specify that a given channel inherit or slave it's sequencing from another channel for a specified timing. It could be for a single timing or for a range or for the entire song.So you could configure channel A to be on, off, shimmer, tinkle, etc.then on Channel B you could configure it to slave from Channel A for a range of timing. It would be nice to let any channel slave off of any other channel. Then if you have something unique for that channel you can override it.If I had this feature I would probably configure some channels with sequencing information and not assign them to any controller then slave the sequencing to other channels that are assigned to controllers. KenL_MCSE
Make the an animated sequence that does what you want it to do, for example make the RGB color chase. Then copy it and paste it to the musical sequences you want. You can copy both/either timings or just sequnce itself.
jstorms
Yeah, copy paste is what I do currently. It's a pain though when I come back to the sequence to tweak it.
