Downloading Free Sequence Question

Sorry if this has already been answered before. But I am looking to download a free sequence and I am having trouble entering it into the sequence editor and on top of that how do you insert the mp3 or music file to it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

If you open the sequence, it will open in the LOR software automatically, then go to edit, click on media file, a popup box will show, find your music file, click on the file, and you're all set. If you like the sequence, save it, the music will save with it.

For the mp3, open the sequence, edit, media file. Find where it is and select it and your done. If you download a sequence, you should be able to open it, add your mp3 and then save it. It should save to the LOR file.

Bill, you type faster than me!!

Might add that often/sometimes the mp3 file isn't included with the sequence "package" you downloaded, so you might have to locate/buy that yourself. You have to use the exact same version of the song, and sometimes the original sequence designer used an custom edited version of the song, which makes it more difficult.

That's why I make my "customized" versions of an MP3 available because of that very reason. Don't know how many times I tried downloading a sequence when I first started only to find the MP3 I had did not work properly or fit the sequence time constraints.

So if I customize an MP3, it is made avaialble for my sequences, just request the MP3 version I created for that sequence.

It was maddening trying to learn how the music and sequencing went and worked together when I first got into this too, especially when the music, and the sequence didn't fit together, and I'm still fairly new, but have learned quite a lot, fortunately from many of the folks right here on the LOR forums willing to share their expertise, sequence files, MP3's(customized types) and experience!
