bobschm
I've been building and sequencing simultaneously. When I began sequencing, I set up 32 names like "left shrub blue" and "right shrub red" etc. with no regard for which box they were in...just a logical order on the list for me to deal with. Now that the boards are complete and ready for testing, I realize I will want to plug "left shrub blue" into box 01 and "right shrub red" into box 02. If they're adjacent in the list, can I assign them to different boxes/channels later? (I hope:shock:)Boston Bob

Just click on the channel button and when it brings up the properties of that button, just change the info by using your mouse. It's very easy. Do it for each channel button you need, or want to change!REMEMBER to change any other buttons that have the same controller ID and Channel though, otherwise you may have your item coming on or going off when you don't want it too because you'll have two areas of your sequence with the same channel/controller info, and this can drive you nuts trying to locate it too!You can also just "move" a channel button by selecting it and dragging it where you want it with the mouse. I did that with a lot of my 80 channel Halloween and Christmas Displays in 2010 because of where the items were located, so instead of changing the channel button and keeping it in the same location, I just dragged it to where I wanted it and either kept the same info or changed it by doing the above. If you check out any of my sequences, you can get an idea. Go to the Christmas Sequences or Halloween Sequences folder, then the 80 channel folder, download and look them over and you can click on the channel buttons to see the ID's and other info. You may find Controller 4 channel 1 button right next to controller 1 channel 15 button, etc. The only sequences currently on-line are in the 80 channel folders. Don't have anything in the other folders as yet. Will have some 48 channel sequences as I get them done for this years display in 2011.Halloween Sequences here:https://cid-7d6d47dfa1c635ae.office.live.com/browse.aspx/Halloween%20-%20LOR%20Sequences/Halloween%20SequencesChristmas Sequences Here:https://cid-7d6d47dfa1c635ae.office.live.com/browse.aspx/Christmas%20-%20LOR%20Sequences%5E_Music%5E_Sound%20Effects/Christmas%20Sequences

Don't feel Bad BB, it happens to the best of us, even the experts hit one now and then. LOLI read the manuals, but sometimes I *did* miss something that was right there and I would ask "How do you do this or do that" too. And I just started with LOR in 2010 myself, just a little after Christmas Dec. 2009, which was still ran from a Mr. Christmas 4 channel wireless system. And I've learned a lot of things over the past few months and keep learning new things or things I overlokked in the manual the first time through. All of us newbies go through it, but it's great to have such a fantastic forum and support from the LOR community as well as the LOR company and LOR support folks too.Sure makes it a lot easier to get info and learn what to and NOT to do. Welcome to the insanity!

Frank Picozzi
Instead of clicking on the channel button, go to Tools and select Channel Property Grid, then you can make all your changes at once.
