Hey guys,
I wanted to ask toy guys what new songs you guys are going rotfl have in your shows. I am moving my display to a more public location, and I wanted to add some really good songs this year, but I feel like all the songs I like have been done last year and I would like to have a good song that not everyone has seen or heard before. So any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jesse

George; This is freaky! I started sequencing "sounds of silence" last Monday. I'm using the original version, but still..... Are you doing anything by Cat Stevens?

By the way CCR still not working LOR is now sending me a whole new setup now. Maybe someday I will have one working.

Looks good.

Looks like you have a number of fans in your 2011 display. Are they all 7 channel fans?...if are are in fact fans.

I was thinking of going from two 32 channel fans to say two 18 channel fans but in pole form, then with those 7 channels left on each controller I would incorporate another display item.

I was going to make one 5 controller fan and place it between two trees but fans are very time consuming. I still might but in a different design.

Pete - The monitor isn't moving - it's the Flip - I got it with the self-centering motorized tripod mount. Money well spent...

Bruce - No Cat Stevens. Somehow it doesn't seem kosher to include the words of a Muslim in a Christian celebration. I think the Ventures version of Sounds of Silence is one of the nicest pieces of music I've ever heard.

'Zilla - All the fans in both yards are seven segments.

Hey George,

Did you ever try sequencing to Dick Dale or the Surfaris? Could be tough but possible.

Pete - I was just messing with you too. There is no such thing as a self-centering motorized tripod mount for the Flip.

'Zilla - The Surfaris (and also Dick Dale) are just a bit too much surfer music for my taste, and their music never seemed to evolve much beyond that. When I was a kid, I used to consider them as cheap imitators of the Ventures.

Gee George I thought you may have bought one of these and adapted it to your Flip:

I'll let other folks click the link to see the price, but it's EXPEN$IVE! Might even give some a heart attack.... Yea, money well spent all right....:P:D

Hey what about the other "surfer dudes", ya know, The Beach Boys?

Wow, that looks like a nice mount. And they have 6-month interest free financing. Only problem is it moves way too slow to keep up with my sequences.:P

I've looked and looked and can't find the right BB tune. Like the Ventures, I probably have all their albums, but nothing has floated to the top yet.

LOL. Why George what with your talents I figured you'd have "modified" that mount to keep pace with your sequences.

I've got a lot, if not all, of their stuff too, but nothing has popped out at me for use in a sequence either.

That was awesome George, I really enjoyed it. That is going to look wonderful in your display.

For capturing the visualization to video I use Debut Video Capture Software from NCH Softwarre. http://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/index.html

Looks pretty awesome to me. Job well done. I think they'll love it!

It's just so sad in the U.S., that cities and towns gov't offices have abandoned decorating like this due to some idiots making complaints and crying, "You can't do that" because of some stupid reason or another or passing some idiotic law that prevents it.

I think any gov't agency, office, building, should HAVE the same right to decorate their buildings just like any other person here in the U.S. Thye used to until the naysaying morons got it banned!:X
