mmais68569 Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I have figured out the basic sequencing of RGB but how do I make all the rest of the 16 Million colors? Mike
Ron Amedee Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 You just vary the intensity of any primary color by 1% and you have a different "shade" of the mix between the RGB's. I doubt your eye could pick out even half of the color mixes, Yet they are there. The CCR's are so bright it is hard to see small changes..Light one up at night and back off about 100 ft you will see colors you miss up close.
mmais68569 Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 How do you change that 1% or more? I see all these variations using different numbers but where do I enter them? Mike
Ron Amedee Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Don't know if you have your CCR's yet or just sequencing..Doesn't matter yet you will find if just seguencing that when you hook up the real thing the colors will look totally different. When you Draw a cell..pick the "fade" on the upper toolbar. A Fade bar will pop up and on each end of the popup will have Choose. If you want RED choose Red from the color chart(on the bottom right you will see the "mixture" of intencities used to make that perticular "RED" IE..red 98 blue 3 green 2. This is what it took to make that Red you picked. If you want a solid color Red without a fade choose Red on both sides of the fade. You can change all these values to get the color you want.Play with it awhile then ask again..Lots of people here to help !!!!
Surfing4Dough Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 If you choose the Color Fade tool button from the toolbar it will pull up the fade bar (top part of the image below). If you click "Choose" for either end of the bar it will pull up the Color Picker (bottom part of the picture) where you can then select any color you want. There are some preset common "basic" colors on the left side, but you can also choose any color imaginable on the right side (and vary the intensity by sliding the slider up/down on the far right side). That is how you can arrive at any of the potential 16M colors. Once you click OK, that end of the fade bar will change to that color. Attached files
