They flash about 3 times per second. I have the newer ones with the coated board, and have used about 15 of them for 2 years, and an additional 15 for this past year, and tested them all the other day and had zero failures.

I saw theirs,I also saw some from action lighting at$ 60.62 for 12 strobes. They have several kinds but they don't give flash rate. The only thing iI see is sku number. One being e-17 one being e-12.The ones I got from wow lights are e-17 ,The ones on christmas lightshow are also e-17 don't now if hey are the same or not.mine only flash 1 time per second

I use Action Lighting e-17 single flash in my mega tree as this gives it the sparkling or glistening look. For more dramatic look use the 3 or 4 flashes per second xenon strobes. I have tested and used both. This year I bought more 3 flash per second and plan to mix both for the shooting star effect when it hits the ground.

I like the multable flash at the end of the song spread out in my whole display. I use the single flash on the slow songs that us older folks like. My display is things that I saw on others video which I spend a lot of my time getting these ideas and then pm the people for the know how to build and buy the right stuff.

These people are great at what they do and they will share when asked. When people ask me how I did the things in my display I hand them a paper with the sites of the videos in which I get these ideas.
Marty, Brian and Jeff are just a few of the pros that are my favorite sites and people to view and learn from.

I bought the e-17 which are the c-9 socket. They did not sell a 3 or 4 flash strobe. I bought 20 of the 3 flash per second from Paul at creative display.
I have since bought several hundred dollars of stuff from Action Lighting without any problems.
If you call them which I did, they will tell you about their strobes and what you would need. They have the best prices on the things I bought from them.
