I will be running 405 regular LOR channels plus, 12 ccrs and 4-8 LOR RGB floods. Do I need to run multiple Usb485b?
Thanks in advance

I would strongly recommend running an additional network. In fact, running two extra networks, for a total of 3, should be considered.

So I just need to purchase 2 more of them and run each one independent from the computer? Or can I daisy chain them together?
Thanks

Each USB-485B needs to plug into either the computer, or a USB hub plugged into the computer. Each one will get its own COM port number, which you configure into the network preferences tab. Then you also set the preference to display the network ID in the channel properties grid, so you can assign each controller and channel to the right network.

Does this mean that if you use Light Linkers you will need additional pairs for the new networks?

I looked on the property grid section. The network tab does not open. Will it open once I have multiple usb's attached. Also how should I break it all up. 405 channels, 12 ccr's and 8 lor floods?
Thanks for all the help.

No. The ELL's could run in your current network with your other LOR controllers. No need for a second network just because you have ELL's.
