I try to find some more information about this DMX What I need to know if this DMX controller is good for led pixel3 chip RGB ic 2801.I looking some board for Led 3 chip RGB ic 2801.Some one have any suggestion were can get some good board.Or this board just good for RGB with no pixel I would light find board with more than one ic 2801'6803,etc on outside board

The spec you posted says power input DC 12-24v.

If I'm not mistaken, the WS2801 is a 5 volt product, so would not work based only on the voltage, unless you use a separate 5 volt voltage injection. Not sure this can translate DMX to the 2801 protocol, either. I wouldn't think so.

I would suggest a Tiger TP3244 protocol bridge. Input DMX and the outputs talks to the WS2801 (among other protocols such as the 3005 or 6803)

That isn't a controller for protocols, rather a DMX dimmer. It can be used for fading and turning "unintelligent" lights on and off. There is no protocol data sent through that, rather just to the controller. The dead give away is the MOSFETs on the controller. (It also is listed under the dimmers section of his store)

If you want to buy and control the individual pixels you need this controller

If you take the route I did and not worry so much about each individual pixel but more of a grouping. Use these RGB's and this DMX controller. I can post a demo if you want...

Take note that this controller will only control 32 pixels (96 channels) as apposed to the CCR which the strip and controller are 50 pixels. The majority of digital 2801 strings come in 50 pixel lengths

Depending on how you mount these you may have issues with waterproofing and will need to do extra work to ensure they are water proof
Power input rating for this controller is 7vdc to 24vdc so the above linked RGB string may not work as they are 5vdc. Im unsure if this is the case, but the specs tell me otherwise

I spoke to Ray before I order the first one. He told me that there is a separate power input to control the board just like the LOR board. When I tested the board with 12v into the main power input all worked fine. When I tested the board with 5v, I had to also add 5v to the other plug that drives the board. There was zero documentaion with the board so I had to figure out the voltage and the dmx settings myself. All in all the board test passed with these RGB channel lights.

here it is in action

Eddy, I keep meaning to ask, does your 48ch controller do 5v? I was going to make one then I tripped upon this 27ch controller.
