Finally got some 2010 videos out to see.

Again not the best camera for taking night pictures, but you will get the idea.

Added BLUE to most of the display and again all the display except the snowflake on the roof are LED's.

Added a coro Christmas Tree in honor or Judy Pancoast Grammy nomination.

The 4 CCR Circles are new this year also, used in four songs.

Whole display with approximately 35,000 lights is only powered on two 120Vac outlets.

Arches are 9 channels each and parallel connected. Each channel is four 35 light strings of half wave CW LED's that give me in a shimmer equivalent of 36 channels per arch. Hard to explain but think of every other string is wired in reverse polarity.

The arches are 20 feet long and the foot spacing is 12 feet.

Reason you could not count all 36 is some are not visible in the videos.

You should get 32 with 8 channel arches.

BTW: you need to use half wave strings, full wave will not give you that effect.

Nice job!!!

Any chance you would like to share your Macarena Christmas sequence?

I have to say I am partial to the Macarena Christmas. It is eerie to see one of my sequences adapted to someone elses display(Or we think a lot alike?). Hope you are coming up for the OKC mini this year. Loved the CCR work in Boughs of Holly.

Keith: I got that sequence off another forum but your name was not the author. It says David Johnson. Loved the song and sequence and had to adapt it to my display. Adapting or starting off new is like remodeling a house or building a new one, they both take a long time to do.

I might be there at the OKC mini again, with the price of gas going so high it might be a factor this year.

Here is my link from this year. the video didn't turn out as well this year as I had added floods that would not show up unless totally dark. My 2009 videos were much better as I had a little daylight so you could see the house. I first created this in 2008. http://www.vimeo.com/18210482 I had that sequence be my most requested from my 2008 and 2009 show. As you can see there were a lot of similar effects with our sequences which is why I though you might have been one who had requested it. When the floods were red they didn't show up at all. Next year I will play more with my camera and maybe bite the bullet and get the long awaited LOR floods and see if they will show up with a little daylight. I think you were at the mini last year and saw my dancing, signing, guitar playing snoopy next to the door leading from the garage into the house. You should bring your CCR's to the mini.
