Ron Amedee Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I bet jeff couldn't do that many people with incandecents !!!!!
Christopher2113 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 those were awesome !! lots of money envolved lol wish i had those lights
Paul Roberson Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 It looked like there were sections out here and there. They must have gotten their lights from a place I have gotten LED lights before.
Christopher2113 Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 yeah the stage was suppose to say love but i think part of the v was out loli wonder if they had wirless controlers on every peroson for them to change the colors of the rgbsit was still pretty cool would have loved to be involved in the setup of that light show ;)

scubado Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 I want one of those uniforms!I thought The Who did a much better job last year.Whoever was the soundman should be fired, not turning on mics and the mix was horrible.

There were four buttons on each box and at the very end you could see them pressing it to change the colors manually. Not as high tech or as cool as it could have been.
Dan C Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Yep, pretty cool, wasn't sure if they were rgb at first but figured that out at the end.And yeah, Scubado, I agree the sound guy was horrible!.I was sitting right next to my right surround sound speaker and the entire show, it had popping and crap coming from it.As soon as the show ended, it went back to normal so I knew it wasn't my receiver.

I reminded her how bugged I am when I see a half string (or even a bulb) out in my display, to the extent that it tends to be the only thing you can focus on. Can you imagine how the halftime lighting guy must have felt when he saw that?!?

NickByrd Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 What's killing me is how many of us saw the exact same things and apparently had the exact same thoughts at the time.I told my wife to look for a light suit on ebay today.
scubado Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Did you guys happen to catch the guy who was red when everybody was white?Maybe it was Waldo?!
heystew Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 John at response-box.com was at least partially involved in the LED's for the half-time show. His RGB nodes were my first foray into RGB this year.http://response-box.com/rgb/
Ron Amedee Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 from response-box.com you are led(no pun intended) to Engineering Solutions IncWho accually built the controlers for the show. Pretty intresting stuff for the newbee to RGB verbage.
