caniac Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 first off, I am a newbie and put together my first show this past Christmas. Bought my equipment from WowLights as well as their sequences and for the most part are happy with them.my big question is where go and find either freebies of ones I want or fee based ones?Is their an easy way to build your own sequences? some sort of simulator so you can see what the finished product should look like? or do you just build a mini version of your display and go from there.also the same for creating shows, i used the easy showbuilder utility but would like to create a few of my own.
Don Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 The following post has a lot of information on where you can find free and paid sequences: http://lightorama.mywowbb.com/forum74/21985.htmlThe LOR sequencer has an animation window which you can use to "draw" your display out. The first time you use it, well, a lot of people don't like it the first time they see it. I didn't, but I've learned to live with it. (And, IMHO, once you use it long enough, and have *some* experience under your belt, it does a very good job.)In your LOR Control Panel look for "Show Builder" and "Scheduler" (not near a computer with LOR on it, those names might be a little different.) These two programs will let you build/schedule shows in more detail.

Not a stupid question at all.You are correct. (You can even build multiple shows and schedule them at different times in the scheduler.)
