Is it possible to use the Chase Tool to cross over itself?

For Example...

Have 4 arches, each with 9 sections.

I want to start at Arch 1 Section 1 and chase (end) at Arch 4 Section 9..but at the same time Start a chase at Arch 4 Section 9 and end at Arch 1 Section 1...essentiually making an "X" in the sequence.

Have tried setting the paste mode to "Background"..but doesn't work.

Operator Error???

You took the words right out of my mouth - I think you should copy and paste. The chase tool needs empty cells into which to extend the chase.

I was pressed for time when I wrote that. But if you turn on "Paste from Foreground" then you can do your chase in the X fashion you wanted.

Remember, the chase looks at the first row to determine the effect. Thus, you'll want to make sure the last cell is OFF before you do the other part of the X.

lol...I know how to paste...was just hoping for a "quick" way to sequence in my "one click" world I live in...
