Get the "advanced" software, it's worth the few extra bucks. Once the addiction sets in your going to want to upgrade anyway.

I have the advanced but it says Seats: 5 does that mean I can only run 5 controllers before I upgrade & if so what upgrade do I need to get.

The "seats 5" means that you can legally install the software on 5 different computers.
