Guest Don Gillespie Posted December 22, 2010 Share Posted December 22, 2010 Check this out, I have been in the back shop for the last two days it is not painted yet but I believe all the people from miles around will come to see this, I haven't decided if I need to add some lights or would a lot of strobe lights work on something like this what do you think?? I drove a 6' piece of rebar in the ground about 2'. I used plastic plumbers hanger tape attached to the plywood on the back side so as to form a 'loop' in the tape. This loop goes around the rebar.This may need 4x4's driven in the ground to attach to. : ) It will defiantly be a wind catcher. Guest Don Gillespie Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 huskernut wrote: Don,From your point of view, how do you think it will stand up to Blizzard like winds?Well this is going to be a test I will be anchoring this thing down really well they recomend a couple of guide wires however I know for sure I am going to be using four of them also my cameras will be monitering this thing do not want any graffiti on it. as for the blizzards I am going to have the face pointed in the north so the wind will kind of go around it only 11 more months to go will take photos of it set up and let you know.
