Scott T Posted December 18, 2010 Share Posted December 18, 2010 On Wednesday, we received a call from our local FOX news affiliate and they wanted to do a story on our efforts to raise money for Project Blue Light. WOW! We have made the local newspaper before, but never coverage like this!Fox did a great story and aired the piece during the 10 o'clock news on Wednesday and then again on Thursday's morning and 12 o'clock news. Our website picked up visitors, donations stepped up and traffic around the display increased.We try to greet every family that comes out see the lights. We hand out Blue Lights and candy canes to the kids. The thanks, praises and donations are thrilling. My three children have been involved from the beginning and this experience is fantastic for them. It reaffirms that the season is for giving! I'm going to enjoy this for a little while, then get back to work and start planning 2011. We have already brainstormed a few things for next year.Here is the press coverage.
