Not too bad for you first year. This year I am experimenting with shooting different angles and splicing the video's together. It's alot of work but I think it is worth it Check out my first one on my web site at http://www.insanelights.com/Videos.html Scroll down to the 2010 section and select "HD" to the right of "A Soldiers Silent Night"

As far as changes for you, make sure you are using manual focus because the bouncing lights reak havoc on auto focus. And try shooting from different angles, it makes quite a difference.

Had to borrow a friends video camera and didn't know how to shut off the auto focus and the auto light detection. caused havac with some sequences that fad from dark to light of from light to all dark and back on again. Going to shoot some more after Christmas when the traffic and weather dies down some.

Had given some thought about other camera angles and close ups of details in action.

Here is my latest video. It is Andrea Bocelli's "Time to Say Goodby". First time I heard this song was at the Belagio fountain. The song along with the emotions that the fountain stirs up with all of its splendor darn near brought me to tears watching it. Though not quite as moving at the Belagio fountain here is m...y presentation of the song....
