CCR - Random Flicker in 1st pixel

I have been having great success finally sequencing songs but started noticing a random flicker in the 1st pixel only and it flickers only in Blue randomly. If I play around with the wires it goes away. By playing I mean move them a bit back and forth checking to see if there is one particular movement that exacerbates or eliminates the issue. It almost seems random in that I can sometimes increase or decrease the flicker manipulating the connection wires where they go into the actual ribbon or the Cat 5 cables connecting to the controller. I can get rid of it for awhile then it comes back.

Any ideas on what could be causing the issue? I have tried placing the CCR 1st in the ethernet chain and as the last unit in the ethernet chain, but that did not help.
