Converting C9s from Incandescent to LED?

Most screw in (retrofit) LED bulbs don't dim, and are damaged if you try.

The minleon brand "sun warm white" bulbs are a very good product that works well in existing strings, and works well with LOR. CDI, and others sell them. I am using a couple thousand of them (C7) in a city show, with lots of dimming, and getting very good results.

I have about 700 C9 Retro LED bulbs from CDI and they dim fine !!

Just occurred to me that I did not want to imply that the other colors of Minleon dimable bulbs were any less of a product than the white... We also have a bunch of red, green, and blue that are doing quite well. The Sun Warm White is the color that is a really close match to conventional incandescent. The Minleon warm white is close to pure white, and a strong contrast to incandescent white.
