vipzach
This is my second year and we only get a few cars each night.I'm pretty much OK with that, don't want to make any neighbors mad.

Yeah! Now I have a new goal.....two.Congratultions!I love it, we're not the only ones to have "goals". This is our first year with LOR too. Our goal is 5 cars at once. We've reached 4. Our local newspaper isn't running addresses of houses with displays this year, so all of ours have been from word of mouth and repeats from the last three years with GE's Lights and Sounds of Christmas. btoerck
I started my show a few weeks ago and had a few cars almost immediately but didnt stay long because i didnt have a radio sign. then i got the radio sign and now we have several cars at once and they are steady. Last night my wife came home from church choir practice and we had 3 cars out on the street and 2 parked in my DRIVEWAY. my wife politely told them they had to move from the driveway and park on the street. I am looking forward to being home all next week while I'm off to see how many cars we have in a night. So far I havent any media types contact me and all advertisement done has been either on facebook or word of mouth.
pixeldigger
...and they'll tell their friends..and they'll tell their friends......etc etc...I remember My first year.we'd sit in the backyard on the swing and wait....I remember the excitement when FOUR cars were there at the same time!now, even out in the county where we are, there is probably a MINIMUM of four between 7PM and 9PM on ANY night.Weekends, there a constant stream.Last night during that time, we probably never had less than a dozen at a time at the show. You're on the way! Lester Stone
My first night we had a lady pull up while the first song was playing, three grandchildren in the car. After an hour or so she came back and said she hurried through dinner to watch again! my wife called me the following night and said we had our first traffic jam:) Newspaper came out had a hard time snapping a pic with all lights on lol. The variety of ages of people is great. put a smile on kids of all ages. Thanks LOR for a wonderful product (shameless plug)
James Hawke
We finally had a few last night that stayed for the whole show. Ms. Julie and I were laughing because there was one kid hanging out the car window dancing for 20 minutes. Priceless!
Bob Wingert
Careful what you wish for! Ours started off slow and I think Pixel hit on this, one person tells another and you have a jam! Which we had last night. Road blocked on both sides. I was trying to talk to all the couples in the midst of dodging our residents coming home. HEHE. Tough cookies! Ours also aired on the news thus bringing out a whole new can of newbies to watch.

Linda McDonald
Our priceless moment this year was when two girls were walking by our display on the way to the park next door. One of the girls stopped to brush some of the snow off of Santa Clause's glasses and beard. Attached files

My neighbor had left us a message and said she liked the picture of our house on the second page of the newspaper. We weren't home tonight, so I have no idea how many cars came by.
