I am really new to this and read back in august about how you guys (and gals) start putting up your shows really early! I didn't get it!!

NOW I DO.

I really need some help with a few things!!!

Money doesn't grow on trees so I went out and got LIGHTS (lots of them). Wanted this year to be simple. I have surfed and surfed on LOTS of your sights and found some great IDEAS BUT!! I want to frame my windows: How without screwing into my house do I do that? I saw someone with a 2x2x10 channel where do I get it. I want to custom cut my lights to fit windows and roof and (can you tell I am OVERWHELMED) steps and chiminey!!!! I only have a 16 channel and I am using all LED's (now I am hearing that that is wrong. and could be a health hazard). I want to color my house and make a mega tree and shooting stars. I want my house to talk and ARGGGGGG HELP.

Oh yeah I am tired of the same 10 songs OVER And OVER where can I get Sequences CHEAP. I was hoping that there was a site or people that would post them. I think I am the only addict in CT that is going this nuts over lights but I seem to be liking it soooo much.

I think I am the only addict in CT that is going this nuts over lights... That may be true; CT is a strange place. Not quite so strange as Jersey, but close...

HELP!! I miss my family! Don't worry - there's plenty of time for them between January and August.

Which is why I don't normally listen to my own display other than to flip it on occasionally to see if it is working properly, or when I'm actually outside watching it from the car or whatever. Even if you had a 40+ song playlist you'd eventually tire of it (believe me, I did my time as a Burger King kitchen employee back in the day - they probably had 100 songs on the Muzak and by the end of the first week I hated them all)

Nothing. (Although my mom lived in Jersey City while she was a kid and I think the air affected her brain somehow.) I just like to see Jeff M. get all worked up every now and then and it's been quite a while since I've seen him get all worked up and I miss it.

I try and watch my display every night...right now just have 12 songs, so I hear them about 5 times a night...but I am out there watching the people more than watching the lights...

But I do watch and see where I can improve the song...

Already thinking about next year...lights and controllers will be on sale before we know it!!!

You have a family?? so do I but I haven't seen them since Nov 7th when I started testing outside. they will come back to you once you light up and probably take a lot of the credit.

Go slow don't fall off a roof and get a lot of extension cords it will work out.

You can get the J-channel for your windows at any home improvement store or siding company

Yea....the sale. I need another CCR. These things are awesome and popular with my audience.

OK so what is a CCR?? also now I just noticed that 9-16 aren't working and when I pull the fuse out it turns off 1-9 (well the entire box) so I am assuming it isn't the fuse!!!!!!!

I just got 5 more strands up and 9-16 aren't working!!!

help AGAIN!!!!

A CCR is a Cosmic Color Ribbon...

If you have a unit with two power cords, they BOTH need to be plugged in to have the unit work, hence both fuses need to be in.

One plug DOES NOT just power just 1-8 and the other 9-16...

Were 9-16 working before for you?
