How can you start the show without using schedule editor

How can you start the show without using schedule editor, reason is i work with my computer and i'm home every night anywhere between 5pm and 8pm, so what i need is, to turn on my show without having to do a new schedule for that day, because i never know what time the show will start t'ill i get home, so basically i have done the show editor, now i want to just play it, i have about 8 song in my show. Hope you guys understand my question.

I'm not sure if this is what you want but in the system tray, Right click on the Light-O-Rama icon and select "Show On Demand" and that will start a show.

I would, however schedule the show to start a certain time, just in case you don't make it home on time one day. That way, at least the show will start and end without you there.

Using the Show on Demand feature will let you start it whenever you want, like Kzaas mentioned.

I think you would have to use schedule editor. But you could set a start time for your earliest home time and a regular end time. Then just disable show ultill you get home. I belive if you enable a show after a start time has past it should start right away.

Yes it will start right up.

I am just confused why somebody would want to start in manually every night.

I use the simple show builder and have mine starting each night at 6 PM, whether I am home or not.

i got the basic version, and i just check and show on demand is not availble, but i'm pretty sure what i'm trying to accomplish here is what i need.

it's because my computer is on the road with me, i only have a lap top and if i'm at work computer is with me and not home, that's why i want to start it manually as soon i get home.

OK, that makes sense.

Go in and create a simple show and save it. I think I had to have a show built before show on demand would work.

i will do that, do the schedule and hook it and start it when i get home, thanks for all the tips

This is my first year as well, but i'm already thinking next year. I know LOR sells an adaptor or certain controllers that use an SD memory card which eliminates the need for a laptop to run your show. Just a thought for next year. That's where i'm heading! Best wishes to you on your show!
